Rick Joaquim SASC is a DP based in London working in Narrative, Commercials and Music Videos. His work has been included in the ARRI Camera Showreel 2019, as Official Selection for Sundance Film Festival 2021 and Cannes Film Festival 2022 and and most recently he won "Best Achievement in Cinematography in a Documentary " at the South African Film & Television Awards 2022 (SAFTA's).
We discuss Rick’s early career in South Africa and his decision to move to London. We go into agents, pre production workflow, the interview process, lenses, filtration, and much more!
